Banning deserves a City Hall that keeps residents informed, especially as major cuts are being made to services our community relies on. For the past year, City Council meeting minutes and City Treasurer reports have not been posted online for public review, even as Parks & Recreation faces cuts of over 94% and the loss of most of its staff, putting programs for youth, seniors, and families at risk. Residents deserve transparency, clear answers, and a meaningful voice in decisions that affect Banning’s quality of life.

My campaign is focused on transparent leadership, reliable services, good jobs, and responsible growth that strengthens the neighborhoods we already call home.
Residents deserve public services they can count on, not cuts that leave families paying more and getting less. I will fight to protect essential services, including reliable utilities, public health resources, keeping parks and recreation services free, and accessible childcare, while keeping costs transparent and decisions focused on residents’ daily needs.
Banning needs more than jobs on paper. We need safe, living-wage careers with training, benefits, and room to grow. I will support local hiring, union apprenticeship and skill trades access, small-business growth, and development that creates lasting opportunity for Banning residents.
Residents deserve a City Hall that is honest about challenges, responsible with public funds, and clear about how decisions are made. I will push for stronger oversight, plain-language budget updates, and real public input before major decisions are made.
Banning deserves growth built around quality jobs that people can build a life on. That means strong wages, local hiring, apprenticeship pathways, strong worker protections, and community benefits that lift up working families.
That means more shops, grocery stores, small businesses, healthcare and education pathways, and more. Our growth should create opportunity people can see, feel, and build a future around.
